Visa Wellington on a Plate is the southern hemisphere's largest and tastiest food festival! Split in two parts for the first time, over May and August, this delicious annual festival is a true reflection of Wellington's reputation as the country's culinary capital.

Returning in a brand new format for 2023, with an innovative theme of 'breaking the mould', the May edition of Visa Wellington on a Plate showcases an extraordinary selection of fun festival events, cocktails and dine dishes.

The Cray-Cray Friday Lunch

A fanatical long lunch that is entirely dedicated to one of New Zealand's finest seafoods. You'll be dining on cray in all styles - from pure hands-on picking, to fancy five-star presentations, and cool kitsch dishes that all pay homage to New Zealand's most beloved crustacean. 

Ticket includes five courses plus canapés with matched beverages for each course.Please note that this event cannot cater to dietary requirements.

Encapsulated in an alluring frozen orb, take your hammer and dare to liberate a tasty infusion of juicy Imagination strawberry gin and mixed berry shrub, laced with cranberry, sage and citrus flavours.

Elevate the taste explosion with a hand crafted mini mixed berry meringue - featuring Lewis Farm strawberries, served on the side. Age 18+, identification may be required.
