This immersive culinary journey blends cutting-edge 3D storytelling with exceptional cuisine to ignite your imagination and delight your senses. Launching 01 August 2025 as part of Visa Wellington On a Plate and continuing beyond the festival period with expanded sittings, InterContinental Wellington proudly presents the first-ever official Le Petit Chef experience in New Zealand. Step into the animated world of Le Petit Chef as he travels across continents in search of the finest ingredients. Through spectacular 3D projection mapping, follow his whimsical quest and witness the expert preparation of your multi-course dinner, right before your eyes. Guests may choose from the Grand Menu, Classic Menu, Vegetarian Menu, or a specially curated Kids Menu.
Please note that while the dishes vary, the visual experience is consistent across all menus and reflects the Grand Menu journey. While the experience is primarily designed for individual bookings, shared seating may occasionally be required due to technical setup.

After the great success celebrated by the world's smallest chef in Wellington, Le Petit Chef, a 3D dinner theatre sensation, is arriving on the 30th of April with a brand-new show, Le Petit Chef & Friends.
Before, during and after dinner, the smallest chef in the world and his friends entertain the guests with various performances and recordings in a fun animated journey with delicious dishes. After a brief introduction of the charming protagonists, a virtual cooking competition comes to life. Guests can look forward to a diverse menu featuring Spanish, Italian, French, and Japanese specialties. The interplay of a virtual cooking show and a delicious multicourse menu offers a unique experience for all the sense.
The carefully crafted menu begins with flavours of Spain, featuring a Marinated Tomato Salad with basil picada, tomato, pan a la catalana, jamón serrano, rocket and Manchego. The journey continues in Italy with Mushroom Ravioli in a four-cheese sauce, accompanied by white button mushrooms and needle mushrooms. For the main course prepared by Le Petit Chef, guests savour Pure South 55-day aged beef sirloin, potato mille-feuille, broccolini and tarragon béarnaise, a trust taste of French elegance. The experience concludes in Japan with a sweer finale of Matcha Mousse with white chocolate mousse, matcha meringue vanilla tuile and confetti.
With four menu variants available - Grand, Classic, Vegetarian, and Kids menus - every palate is accounted for, ensuring an unforgettable gourmet experience for all guests.
